Last night, my still-as-yet-untitled book about Coronation Street was given a massive boost when I had the chance to “interview” (actually it was more of an informal natter) with Michelle Holmes.
Michelle played Tina Fowler between 1989 and 1990 and has a whole host of acting credits to her name. Many will remember her for playing Yvonne Sparrow in Goodnight Sweetheart and she’s been on our screens recently as DC Barbara Maddox in the absolutely brilliant drama Above Suspicion.
I have said it before, but I find it genuinely humbling that people who are successful in their chosen profession are prepared to give their time, help and in Michelle’s case also some great advice, to someone they have never met.
The book had been ticking over nicely and I was pleased with how the text was progressing, but after talking to Michelle, I feel that things will now move to a higher level; more insightful content and certainly greater credibility... oh and not forgetting my “individual” writing style...
You had forgotten hadn’t you...
Anyway, that’s all for now... this short blog... “blogette”... or “blogling” maybe was just a quick update and a chance to say a huge thank you to Michelle xx
All my own work... almost.
