My Home Page
Hi – and thank you for visiting my web site (even if it was by accident).
There is a page devoted to my recent and ongoing challenges on behalf of the mental health charity Mind and "Time to Change" (who would have believed I could add “stand-up comedian” to my CV?!), but the rest of the site is devoted to my love of writing. There are details and reviews of my professionally- and self-published books, and there is also a reasonably regularly updated blog, the link to which I’m hoping will be self-evident!
As well as writing, sport has been a huge part of my life. I played club cricket for twenty-five years, taking over 1,000 wickets and scoring about half a dozen runs, as well as spending many enjoyable hours on the badminton court and completing five Great North Runs. As a spectator I've travelled to over eighty different grounds following Gateshead FC and Gateshead Thunder (rugby league), and I now enjoy supporting Grangetown Netball Club, whose elite squad plays in National Premier League 2. For some netball-related blogs, reports and interviews, please go to the Grangetown Netball page....
Thanks again for passing by.
