Two days into my week's annual leave and with the exception of twenty minutes in the dentist's chair this morning, it's been really good so far...
Sadly, although not badly broken, my upper right wisdom tooth will probably be extracted... leaving me with just one wisdom tooth which is still more than most of my blog readers imagined I had...
To cheer myself up, I went with Elaine to Burger King for a Double Bacon Cheeseburger and a few chips... very nice too... and I could justify the calories after pedalling and rowing in excess of fifty miles at the gym over the past three days.
Then it was onward to the cinema to see the movie The Woman in Black which stars Daniel Radcliffe (minus wand) along with Ciaran Hindon from Above Suspicion (sadly minus the gorgeous Kelly Reilly) and also Jessica Raine who plays Jenny Lee in Call the Midwife (minus... erm... forceps...).
I have to say that for a 12A film, there were some pretty scary moments... I must admit to jumping on a couple of occasions but luckily the only audible noise came from top and not bottom half... The moment pictured above was the cause... and next time I will be better prepared... do any shops sell brown underpants these days?
Arguably the biggest shock came a bit earlier though... £2.90 for a bag of Maltesers... bloody disgraceful...
The rest of the evening should be somewhat calmer... a few pancakes and a helping of Holby City... and hopefully no bad dreams about the dentist tonight...
All my own work... almost.
